Ben Cardin: Known By The Company You Keep

Today, on the slow news Friday before the Labor Day weekend, after the President obtained enough votes in the Senate to sustain any attempt to scuttle the Iran nuclear deal, one of our Maryland Senators, Ben "Dover for AIPAC" Cardin, weaseled his way into alignment with the likes of Republican Sen. Tom "Ear to Ear" Cotton (Teabag-AR), Sen. "Tailgunner Ted" Cruz (Crackpot-TX), AIPAC and Bibi "Bomb Bomb" Netanyahu and announced he would vote against the Iran nuclear deal.  In doing so, he fell back on the same discredited arguments you could cut and paste from AIPAC's or any Republican's talking points.  Once again, there is no "better deal."  It's moral and intellectual cowardice to be a "Democrat," know everything about the deal, and still find a way to say "no."

Cardin, who's the ranking "Democrat" on the Foreign Relations Committee, joins fellow cowards and AIPAC pawns Sen. Chuck "Where's The Camera?" Schumer (?-Wall Street) and Sen. Bob Menendez (Payola-NJ) in coming out in opposition to the deal.  Like Schumer, Cardin should be disqualified from his leadership position but won't be, because Spineless Democrats.
