Piyush's Latest Depravity

Mass shootings can bring the best in our natures.  Take the example of Chris Mintz, a veteran who confronted the Roseburg, OR school shooter and was shot 7 times trying to talk him out of massacring 9 of his fellow classmates. The first responders to the shootings also deserve praise for their heroism. Sadly, those situations also bring out the worst in our natures, and for someone who consistently strives for that, you can't beat failed Louisiana Governor Piyush "Bobby" Jindal.

Piyush, who is also failing at running for the Rethuglican nomination, has been trying to out-extreme his extremist competitors in the Presidential race, simply to get some media attention and traction (see here, here, and here). So it probably shouldn't be a surprise that in the wake of the Oregon mass shooting, the despicable opportunist from Louisiana would have something rancid to say specifically about the shooter's father:
"He brags that he has never held a gun in his life and that he had no idea that his son had any guns. Why didn’t he know? Because he failed to raise his son. He should be ashamed of himself, and he owes us all an apology."
The shooter's father, who lives in Los Angeles, had no idea about his son's gun collection, since the shooter lived with his ex-wife in Roseburg, and hadn't seen his son in two years.  Speaking of the mother, she's a real piece of work, who believes in stockpiling guns before the Gummint comes in their black helicopters to take them away. In this case, the nut didn't fall far from the tree, and the nut wasn't the father.  It's typical of Piyush -- especially now that he has delusions of grandeur -- to twist something 180 degrees to fit his reactionary positions, but this one was too clever by half.

BONUS:  Piyush has a competitor in gun-crazy talk.  Here's nutcase Dr. Ben "Off Meds?" Carson, who seems to think that not wanting to be mowed down is less important than the shooters right to mow you down:
“I never saw a body with bullet holes that was more devastating than taking the right to arm ourselves away.”
He should be forced to repeat that to the victims' families of Columbine, Virginia Tech, Aurora, Newtown, Oak Creek, Roseburg, etc. etc.  What a sick, callous clown.
