I can't see this fascination with the 25th amendment since unless the president goes quietly it takes 2/3 of both houses to oust him and a majority of the cabinet, unless the Congress has defined a different body to serve that purpose.
ReplyDeleteDidn't see any "fascination" with the 25th A in the quote; it was simply mentioned by Campos to illustrate how we're living in a time when an insane political party/cult, combined with failed mechanisms intended to save ourselves from the likes of Trump, makes that remedy a non-starter (though Campos' point is simply that if Biden did a fraction of what Trump's done, the same insane party/cult would certainly have tried the 25th A and any other means to remove him, likely or not).
