Weekend Steppe Music

We're going to the other side of the world for today's weekend music, thanks to blog (and personal) friend P.E.C.  Mathias Duplessy is a French jazz/ world music composer and musician who has developed a mastery of Mongolian instruments and vocal styles. Here he is singing and playing the 2- string Mongolian fiddle, the morin khuur, on the beautiful "Tcherendeya."  Hope you enjoy.
