We're going across the pond for a "Weekend Update" from the British version of "Saturday Night Live," in its second season now (our SNL begins its new season next Saturday, btw). Hosts Ania Magliano and Paddy Young burn through the Ed Sheeran/ Macklemore/ Robert Kraft free speech kerfuffle before some quick hits on Earl Spencer's new book about his sister, Princess Diana, and Buckingham Palace's response, all in 3:25. As a side note, Sheeran has issued an apology and has spoken about what happened with his artist cancellations and what his feelings are about Israel, the Palestinians, and Gaza, FWIW.
