Trump's ratings fluctuate for the general population, and he hangs around 40-45% most of the time. But among Republicans polled, he's over 80% consistently. So in spite of the evidence that he's got a financially compromised history, that he lies twenty times or more per day, that he is under investigation for countless crimes, his Republican followers will enthusiastically support him.
ReplyDeleteSo there is virtually no way to convince his base that he is unfit. They will blame Democrats for harrassing him and they will claim any evidence found against him is biased and fake news. We cannot change their minds.
So we have to continue to get everything we can to show he's a crook and we have to vote in huge numbers for solid candidates in 2020. We cannot rely on Mueller because he may exonerate Trump from claims of ties to Russia while indicting other members of his administration. We hope the Southern District finds criminal proof, but we can't rely on that, either.
We gotta vote!
