On Christmas night, the demented Malignant Fascist posted a typically hateful, threatening screed (amongst the many cheesy ads that adorn his failing social media site).  The concept that "every accusation is a confession" is fully borne out throughout this exhibition of a diseased mind:

He spends so much time tapping deranged thoughts out on social media, one has to wonder (beyond the clear evidence of an unwell, deeply disturbed person) when he has time for nodding off while presidentin'.

He may be the one who's enjoying his last Merry Christmas!

Truth Finally Shows Up At Trump's "Truth Social"

 

Apparently the AI query feature at the Malignant Fascist's ironically- named "Truth Social" social media platform, unlike its owner, cannot tell a lie.  From Raw Story (our emphasis):

Political analysts at The Bulwark were gobsmacked on Tuesday after prompting the artificial intelligence feature on President Donald Trump's social media platform to fact-check some of the president's key claims.  

For years, Trump has claimed that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him and that he didn't cause people to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6 while Congress worked to certify the election results. He has claimed more recently that his tariff policies are not costing American taxpayers any money, a claim that several experts dispute.

Analysts at The Bulwark decided to put those claims to the test against the AI search tool on Trump's Truth Social site. The answers that the tool provided were "unexpected," according to Jared Poland, video editor at the outlet. 

"We understand if you have not made it to the site to see it," Poland wrote in The Bulwark's latest "Morning Shots" newsletter. "But it’s doing something remarkable and unexpected. It’s telling the truth."

One question The Bulwark asked was about the impact of Trump's tariffs.

"Do Trump's tariffs cost the American people money?" they asked. 

"Yes. Tariffs are taxes on imports that U.S. importers pay and largely pass on through higher prices," the search's answer reads.

In another prompt, The Bulwark asked if people stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 "because of Donald Trump."

“Yes. Multiple official and contemporaneous records attribute the January 6, 2021, Capitol breach to a pro‑Trump crowd mobilized around his false election‑fraud claims and pressure campaign to stop certification," Trump's AI said.

When specifically asked whether Trump "lie[d] about the 2020 election being 'rigged' and 'stolen?'" the platform gave a shocking answer.

“Yes. Courts, Trump’s own advisers, and official investigations found no evidence that the 2020 election was ‘rigged’ or ‘stolen,’ despite his repeated claims.”

They also asked how many wars Trump has ended since taking office.

“None. There is no verified instance of President Trump formally ending a war since taking office in January 2025," it replied.  

That's more truth from a Malignant Fascist- branded enterprise than anybody's ever seen!  Time for him to sue the site's owner!  Bwahahahaha...

Rats Deserting "Truth Social" Garbage Scow

 

Stock bottoming out?  Execs bailing?  Mismanagement?  Misuse of funds? Retaliation?  Sounds like a Trump operation!

Former President Donald Trump’s media company has forced out executives in recent days after internal allegations that its CEO, former Rep. Devin Nunes, is mismanaging the company, according to interviews and records of communications among former employees.

Several people involved with Trump Media believe the ousters are retaliation following what they describe as an anonymous “whistleblower” complaint regarding Nunes that went to the company’s board of directors.

The chief operating officer and chief product officer have left the company, along with at least two lower-level staffers, according to interviews, social media posts and communications between former staffers reviewed by ProPublica. The company, which runs the social media platform Truth Social, disclosed the departure of the chief operating officer in a securities filing Thursday afternoon.

ProPublica has not seen the whistleblower complaint. But several people with knowledge of the company said the concerns revolve around alleged mismanagement by Nunes. One person said they include allegations of misuse of funds, hiring of foreign contractors and interfering with product development...

Well, whenever you have something that both Trump and fellow Putin useful idiot Devin "Clouseau" Nunes are involved in, you've got the ultimate double whammy.  So, we'll soon be adding this to the list of dubious Trump operations that have collapsed due to some combination of incompetence and fraud.

And, as he's already proven, he'd run the country in the same incompetent, chaotic manner if given another opportunity.

Here are just a few recent posts (screenshots) of the Malignant Loser's failing "Truth Social" "truths" that you almost certainly won't see covered by the news media.  Do they seem to you to be the droppings of a stable genius and future leader of the country?  (click to enlarge)

Career criminal and convicted felon complains about the law pursuing him and trying to hold him accountable for his crimes (notwithstanding the illegitimate Republican Supreme Court's immunity decision).

Imagine if a Democrat -- President Biden or anyone else -- posted this type of lying, delusional attack on the justice system.  How many minutes or column inches would you see the news media spend on calling out the Democrat?  And yet, time after time, year after year, the convicted felon Malignant gets a pass from the news media.  In 2020, Brian Klass put his finger on the problem that carries through to today:

"... Trump gets away with it because the previously unthinkable has become routine. As a species, we are drawn to fresh and surprising information — something we could call “novelty bias.” What would surprise you more: Trump amplifying a lunatic conspiracy theory in a tweet or him unequivocally praising the sacrifices of immigrant nurses and doctors during the pandemic? The former happens all the time; the latter would provoke breathless commentary. Is Trump finally making his mythical pivot to being presidential? Is this a new general election strategy? For every other mainstream politician, that dynamic would be inverted..."

That's coupled with a base that would -- has to -- believe just about anything that came out of their cult leader's mouth, and has so for nearly a decade.  It's hard to admit to yourself you've been hustled for that long, so the convicted felon Malignant Loser is free to lie outrageously without fear of losing his voters.  And all the while the news media looks for "novelty" and ignores the derangement at our peril.

Once again, the future is in our hands.  Democrats have been outperforming the polls for two years now, and in November they need to show up and outperform them once again.

"Truth" Social Propped Up By Shady Russian-American

In an exclusive report this morning, the Guardian's Hugo Lowell writes that Trump Media, the parent of Truth Social, was propped up in 2022 with loans from a Russian-American under investigation for insider trading and money laundering. Once again, the Malignant Loser found a helping hand from Russians eager to keep him on their side:

"Donald Trump’s social media company Trump Media managed to go public last week only after it had been kept afloat in 2022 by emergency loans provided in part by a Russian-American businessman under scrutiny in a federal insider-trading and money-laundering investigation.

The former US president stands to gain billions of dollars – his stake is currently valued at about $4bn – from the merger between Trump Media and Technology Group and the blank-check company Digital World Acquisition Corporation, which took the parent company of Truth Social public.

But Trump Media almost did not make it to the merger after regulators opened a securities investigation into the merger in 2021 and caused the company to burn through cash at an extraordinary rate as it waited to get the green light for its stock market debut.

The situation led Trump Media to take emergency loans, including from an entity called ES Family Trust, which opened an account with Paxum Bank, a small bank registered on the Caribbean island of Dominica that is best known for providing financial services to the porn industry.

Through leaked documents, the Guardian has learned that ES Family Trust operated like a shell company for a Russian-American businessman named Anton Postolnikov, who co-owns Paxum Bank and has been a subject of a years-long joint federal criminal investigation by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) into the Trump Media merger." [snip]

Paxum Bank does not offer loans in the US as it lacks a US banking license and is not regulated by the FDIC. Postolnikov appears to have used the trust to loan money to help save Trump Media – and the Truth Social platform – because his bank itself could not furnish the loan." (our emphasis)

Trolling The Troll: Biden Joins Trump's "Truth Social"

 

News item:

President Joe Biden's 2024 campaign launched an account on Donald Trump ‘s Truth Social on Monday, attempting to poke online fun at the Republican candidate he may well face again in next fall’s election.

Under the handle @BidenHQ, the campaign posted: “Well. Let’s see how this goes. Converts welcome!” It began its time on Truth Social by following just one account: Trump’s. [snip]

Biden’s campaign noted its move on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, writing, “We just joined Truth Social, mostly because we thought it would be very funny.”

It added, “Follow us there for truths and retruths or whatever they call them.” A senior campaign aide said their joining might make Truth Social a little fun...

Well, we know the Malignant Loser has no sense of humor, nor do his black- hearted fellow authoritarian followers, so the fun will be all on our side.  Furthermore, "Truth Social" may not be long for this world, since it's losing a portion of it's investment commitments to the tune of nearly $200 million.

Trump's "Ghost Town" Social Media App

We've been reading stories in the past few weeks about the Malignant Loser's failing "Truth Social" scam of a social media venture. The Malignant Loser himself is reported to be angry that he's not drawing the numbers he once drew on Twitter and Facebook before being banned from both for repeated lying and sedition. Here's a report from Business Insider's Rosie Bradbury that confirms that it's going nowhere:

"I downloaded the Truth Social app on launch day and created an account – only to be told I'd been put on a waitlist in spot number 157,120. Three weeks later, on March 14, I was finally allowed to use the app.

And I found…not very much. It was like a conservative ghost town that had been overrun by bots. [snip]

The signs so far are that Truth Social is a flop.

Since it launched, downloads and time spent on the app have trended downwards. It has slumped from being the number one download on Apple's US App Store to number 173, according to an analysis by Similarweb."

Once Bradbury got into the site, she reports that "my suggested follows were sometimes weird, and my feed didn't contain much original content," weird as in killer Kyle Rittenhouse's account and "hot chicks golfing." The direct message function wasn't working either. Also, Bradbury reports:

"Interestingly, Fox News, which was once Trump's news network of choice, didn't appear to have a presence. There was an account called @FoxNewsChannel but it only had 5,920 followers, and has only posted 30 'truths' altogether.

There was an RSS aggregating bot for Fox Sports' website, which had 76,300 followers, but the account didn't appear to be affiliated with Fox itself."

Embarrassingly enough, many right-wing commentators / propagandists weren't on the site, including the noxious Ben Shapiro and the hateful Alex Jones, nor were any Senators of either party.

Add this to Trump steaks, Trump University, and the 2020 election, among other things. The Malignant Loser strikes out again.

ETTD -- Trump's New Media Partner Takes A Bath

A listed special purpose acquisition company linked to former President Donald Trump is on track to post a massive weekly decline.

Digital World Acquisition (DWAC) closed down nearly 7% Friday to just under 68 a share. This means it fell 28% this week.

Indeed, it is on track to finish more than 61% off its all-time high of 175, which it reached last Friday. 

Earlier this week Trump outlined his plans for social media site Truth Social. He boasted he will offer a "Big Tent" platform as he locks horns with the likes of Facebook (FB) and Twitter (TWTR). [snip]

Digital World Acquisition skyrocketed last week on the news it will serve as a vehicle to take the Trump Media & Technology Group public via a merger.

Beyond the Malignant Loser's magic touch,  it's possible DWA's collapse is partially a result of an issue with making the =snicker= "Truth Social" =snicker= software's source code public.  If it's not done in 30 days, it'll have its software license revoked, resulting in failure to launch.  

That would follow the Malignant Loser's short- lived micro blog attempt "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump" (which folded in less than a month), his failing Jason Miller- fronted social media platform "GETTR," as well as Business Hall of Shame entries Trump University, Trump Steaks, real estate losses associated with his toxic brand, multiple bankruptcies, and serious exposure to criminal and civil charges related to the corrupt shell of the Trump Organization, just to hit the lowlights.

No matter,  the effort will certainly earn a spot in this Donald J. Trump Library, perhaps in the Everything Trump Touches Dies (ETTD) gallery.
