Bundy's Racism Is MLK Jr.'s Fault!

It looks like Nevada freeloading rancher and right-wing racist hero Cliven "Hoof" Bundy isn't through with lecturing us on The Negro.  After his racist rant on slavery and the cotton-pickin' Negro earlier this week went viral, Cliven Hoof doubled down this morning on CNN, saying:

"We don’t have freedom to say what we want. If I call — if I say negro or black boy or slave, I’m not — if those people cannot take those kind of words and not be offended, then Martin Luther King hasn’t got his job done then yet. They should be able to — I should be able to say those things and they shouldn’t offend anybody." (emphasis added)

That should remove any doubt from his die-hard apologists who say that Cliven Hoof simply misspoke the other day, or that he needed help with his media skills.  His racist views are held by the far-right "patriot" militia and sovereign citizen thugs that showed up heavily armed to confront law enforcement officials.  Even more clear is that his views reflect the id of the Rethuglican / New Confederate / Stupid Party base.  In the eyes of the political and media leaders of the party,  Cliven Hoof's main sin was being so candid about what they all believe, but won't say out loud.

BONUS:  If you haven't seen Rachel Maddow's passionate historical tracing of the "posse comitatus" and white supremacist militia movements back to Bundy's crackpot ramblings, you owe it to yourself to watch it.  He's your hero, right-wingers.

The Right's New Racist Hero

The right-wing media, led by the Fux Channel's smug thug Sean "Heil" Hannity, might be toning down their cheerleading for Nevada's freeloading cattle rancher Cliven "Hoof" Bundy after they hear what that Government-hating clown had to say about "The Negro":

“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro…they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.  And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do? They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.” (emphasis added)

There's little doubt that the armed right-wing militia / sovereign citizen racists will continue to back Cliven Hoof's lawbreaking because they share his racist views.   But what about Rethug politicians who stepped into Cliven's cow pie before checking him out?  For example, Texas' Rethug Gov. and LensCrafter model Rick "Oops" Perry, who gave a shout-out to Cliven Hoof and who wants to stoke anti-Federal land management resentment in Texas.  Will Oops renounce the racist rancher's statements,  or simply pretend he didn't hear them and move on?  Bets, anyone?

UPDATE I:  We learned that just minutes after posting, Oops declined to denounce Cliven Hoof's racist statements.  Ladies and gentlemen, your current crop of Rethuglican Presidential candidates.
