Dancin' Dave's Ethics Problem

The host of NBC's "Meet the Press," Dancin' Dave Gregory, is one of the Washington Village's golden boys, carefully maintaining his place on the cocktail party circuit where he's fed the spin that he passes off as "journalism." Tomorrow, he's scheduled to give the keynote address to a Rethuglican-affiliated organization, the National Federation of Rethuglican Independent Business. That organization has contributed heavily and exclusively to Rethuglican House and Senate candidates, and is hardly non-partisan. So, while you might ask if Dancin' Dave is violating journalistic ethics by participating in a partisan event, you should first ask whether Dancin' Dave is even a journalist.

He is something of a dancer, though.
