Happy Birthday to one of our favorites, Canadian jazz vocalist/ pianist Diana Krall, born on this day in 1964. Here is her rendition of Tom Waits' "Temptation."  Hope you enjoy.

Canadian jazz vocalist / pianist Diana Krall has a lovely, smoky contralto voice and a mastery of the piano, having won five Grammys and many other awards.  Krall is married to singer-songwriter Elvis Costello, with whom she has twin sons.  Today's song is Krall's cover of the Eagles' 1979 soft rock song "I Can't Tell You Why," from her best-selling album "Wallflower."  Enjoy.

Best-selling jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall's newest album features a cover of Bob Dylan's 1971 tune,"Wallflower."   It's maybe no coincidence that Dylan's son, Jakob, fronts the rock band The Wallflowers, who perform our second tune, the Grammy-winning "One Headlight."  Enjoy.
