WH Chief Of Staff Torches Vance, Bondi, Vought -- And "Alcoholic's Personality" Trump

 

The wheels on the Malignant Fascist's crazy bus regime seem to be coming off.  His Chief of Staff Susie Wiles was interviewed by Vanity Fair and spilled the tea about key regime minions, something you might do if you were looking for some career sanewashing prior to bailing out (or alternatively, if you're sending "you're not welcome" messages to those minions).  From AlterNet:

President Donald Trump's former campaign manager and current chief of staff, Susie Wiles left no one untouched speaking to a Vanity Fair reporter.

In a new tell-all article, Wiles calls Vice President JD Vance "a conspiracy theorist for a decade."

There has been speculation about Vance's conversion from calling Trump "Hitler" to becoming a fierce defender of the president. Wiles reveals in the interview that Vance has been "sort of political" in his conversion. 

Wiles also criticized Russell Vought, the director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Vought was the "architect of the notorious Project 2025," the Heritage Foundation plot to radically change the U.S. government from the inside.

According to Wiles, Vought is nothing more than "a right-wing absolute zealot."

Vought was closely involved with the effort to eliminate thousands of federal workers, leading to a brain drain of some of the smartest experts in government, Reuters reported in September.

Vanity Fair asked Wiles about the effort under Elon Musk to cut $2 trillion from the federal budget. Toward the end of his time in the White House, Musk confessed he would only able to cut about $150 billion by the end of 2026.

In March, the billionaire argued, in a since-deleted posted, that leaders like Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler "didn't murder millions of people. Their public sector workers did."

Wiles said of the statement, “I think that’s when he’s microdosing.”

Wiles remark was in reference to reports of Musk's heavy drug use while working in the White House. In May, the New York Times reported Musk had a daily supply of 20 ketamine pills. He mixed the ketamine with ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms and Adderall, according to the Times.

Wiles said she never had first-hand knowledge of Musk's drug use.

She also touched on the Malignant Fascist's "alcoholic's personality":

At one point during the interview, which involved a number of Trump staff members, Wiles said Trump has “an alcoholic’s personality."

She explained that he “operates [with] a view that there’s nothing he can’t do. Nothing, zero, nothing.”

Trump's brother, Fred Trump Jr., was an alcoholic, and Trump doesn't drink alcohol at all. However Mary Trump, the president's niece, has said that for the president, "nothing is ever enough."...

She didn't spare the Malignant Fascist's personal attorney/ Attorney General Pam "Blondie" Bondi's handling of the Epstein-Trump files, either.  From The Hill: 

Attorney General Pam Bondi “whiffed” on understanding how much President Trump’s base of supporters cared about the release of the files linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, White House chief of staff Susie Wiles says in a newly-released interview. 

“I think she completely whiffed on appreciating that that was the very targeted group that cared about this,” Wiles said in an interview with Vanity Fair that was published on Tuesday. 

“First she gave them binders full of nothingness. And then she said that the witness list, or the client list, was on her desk. There is no client list, and it sure as hell wasn’t on her desk,” she continued. 

Bondi has faced backlash from Trump’s base for her handling of the Epstein files. The attorney general said in a Fox News interview in February that the files were “sitting on my desk” awaiting release.

The attorney general had promoted the revelations seen in the files in several interviews without details but while describing Epstein’s actions as “pretty sick.”

However, a Justice Department memo released over the summer found that documents said there was “no incriminating ‘client list.’”

The memo also said that federal investigators “did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”

In November, President Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act after the legislation passed with bipartisan support in the Senate and the House. The law gives the Justice Department 30 days to release the majority of the files.

Wiles also acknowledged that the revenge prosecutions of the MF's political opponents were exactly that.

Whatever her reason for speaking out at a particularly low ebb for the fascist regime, Wiles' comments on key players like Vance, Bondi, and Vought give unmistakable confirmation of an incompetent regime in a struggle with itself, with everyone looking out for number one, and a dangerous clown at the top of the chain of command who never was and never will be a leader.

Conservative pundit David Frum on JD "Junior Demagogue" Vance, previewing the Vice Presidential debate tomorrow:

"I've known him for a long time -- you've got someone who is very brittle, you've got someone whose public persona is a fake. That's the reason he keeps attacking Tim Walz as a phony. Tim Walz, whatever you think of Tim Walz, he is what he is. But Vance is a phony... and he's someone when that is exposed becomes very petulant, very peevish, very angry, and very controlling. And that's going to be the task at this debate. [snip]

"That is a troubled soul. And that's the thing that America has to see is... the man who would be the oldest president ever has a 40-year-old vice president and there's something wrong with him."  (our emphasis)

Let's hope Vance lets his weird flag fly for all to see tomorrow night.

The Malignant Loser's Clean-up Guy Messes Up

As the ticket mate to the lying, delusional and hate-filled Malignant Loser,  his mini-me JD "Junior Demagogue" Vance has an important job: to try to clean up after him. Not only has he not been good at that job, he's succeeded in making matters worse for his cult leader. Amanda Marcotte, writing today in Salon.com, explains:

"The term 'sanewashing' was coined to describe the bad habit of journalists who rewrite Trump's rambling nonsense into sentences that make sense, but for Vance, it's a full-time job. When Trump insisted that Vice President Kamala Harris 'happened to turn Black,' Vance went on clean-up duty, saying it 'was an attack on Kamala Harris being a chameleon.' It was a lie — Harris has always identified as Black — but it was coherent. When Trump mocked Congressional Medal of Honor recipients because they're 'either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets—or they’re dead,' Vance insisted he only saw 'a guy who loves our veterans and who honors our veterans. ' [snip]

...despite Vance's mastery of noun-verb agreement, he's not doing great at making Trump seem less weird. That's because Vance is quite weird himself, especially about cats, a previously unremarkable popular species of pet. First, there were all the clips of him ranting about 'childless cat ladies,' which Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., memorably called the 'incel platform.' Now he's pivoted to lying, repeatedly, about Haitian immigrants in his state of Ohio, falsely accusing them of eating cats. Vance even admitted it's a lie on national television, telling CNN's Dana Bash, 'If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that's what I'm going to do.'"  (our emphasis)

Right on cue, he's trying to "create stories" that Vice President Harris and Dems are at fault for the recent assassination attempts on the Malignant Loser for calling out his toxic policies and language. It's a howler to think that the Malignant Loser avoids violent and bigoted language. As Joe Scarborough noted this morning, Vance is gaslighting his cult leader's behavior and rhetoric and expecting us to swallow it. It's a sign of how desperate they are not only to grift off of the assassination attempt but to flip the script by claiming the attempted attacks are caused by Dem rhetoric.

Vance And Republicans Spread Racist Lies About Immigrants

 

The latest racist, anti-immigrant trope from the fascist white nationalist Republican/ MAGAt cult wasn't on our bizarro bingo card:

​​Police say they have not received any credible reports of immigrants harming people’s pets in Springfield, Ohio, as a racist rumor spread further by JD Vance continues to circulate.

Donald Trump’s running mate posted a video yesterday, in which he peddled the rumor immigrants were abducting pets and eating them, “causing chaos” in the town.

Springfield Police Division said it was aware of the “rumors” but has no information to support them.

“In response to recent rumors alleging criminal activity by the immigrant population in our city, we wish to clarify that there have been no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community,” NBC reports.

Police added: “Additionally, there have been no verified instances of immigrants engaging in illegal activities such as squatting or littering in front of residents’ homes. Furthermore, no reports have been made regarding members of the immigrant community deliberately disrupting traffic.”

In an apparent attack on Kamala Harris over her border and immigration policies, yesterday Vance wrote on X: “Months ago, I raised the issue of Haitian illegal immigrants draining social services and generally causing chaos all over Springfield, Ohio. Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn’t be in this country. Where is our border czar?”

Vance’s debunked claim appears to have originated from a local Facebook group in Springfield which warned residents to be wary of the Haitian community and alleged that animals, including cats and dogs, were being “carved up” for consumption...

The Haitian immigrants are already a marginalized community whose presence in many parts of the MAGAt- infested country marks them as exotic and unwanted ("people who shouldn't be in this country," as J.D. Vance put it).  But Vance's lie is wholly in the wheelhouse of these fascists, whose specialty is punching down on those who don't have the power and influence to defend themselves, especially if they're minorities and/ or poor.  The perpetrators and spreaders of this dangerous, racist claim need to be exposed and hounded just as they would hound these marginalized groups.

Ad With Insulting Words For Trump To Continue

 

You may have seen the right-wing Club for Plutocrats Growth ad running in Ohio against Senate Republican candidate and shape-shifting opportunist J.D. Vance. It uses Vance's own caustic words from the past about malicious cult leader Donald "Sore Loser" Trump, something that's verboten in Republican circles, in an attempt to sink his candidacy:

The anti-Vance ad caught the narcissistic loser's eye, and he's not happy with the Club for Growth for disseminating the harshly critical words about him ("noxious,""idiot," "reprehensible," etc.) on Ohio's airwaves....because it might hurt his popularity. He reportedly called the Club for Growth's President, David McIntosh, last month and asked that the ads be pulled down. In response, they said "yes sir!" bought another $500,000 of airtime for the ad in Ohio. Ouch! Thanks for your input!
