Eric Trump Helped With Stormy Daniels Hush Agreement

Your daddy must not like you, Eric "Qusay" Trump
A new report from the Wall Street Journal reveals that President Donald Trump personally directed an effort earlier this year to keep adult film star Stormy Daniels quiet before she could go public with her story about their affair.
According to the Journal, Trump began as early as this past February to coordinate with former “fixer” Michael Cohen to file a restraining order against Daniels as a way to enforce the nondisclosure agreement that she signed in exchange for hush money back in 2016.
“Mr. Trump told Mr. Cohen to coordinate the legal response with Eric Trump, one of the president’s sons, and another outside lawyer who had represented Mr. Trump and the Trump Organization in other matters,” the Journal reported. “Eric Trump, who is running the company with his brother in Mr. Trump’s absence, then tasked a Trump Organization staff attorney in California with signing off on the arbitration paperwork.”

More Stormy Weather: Trump Made False Statements In Previous Financial Disclosure Form

More potential criminal exposure for crime family head Donald "Rump" Trump and his fixer/ consigliere Michael Cohen:
President Donald Trump reported having paid his personal attorney Michael Cohen more than $100,000 as a reimbursement for a payment made to a third party, documents released on Wednesday confirmed.
A reason for the payment to Cohen was not specified in the federally required financial disclosure that the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) released, The New York Times reported.
The disclosure notes that though Cohen made the payment in 2016, Trump didn’t fully reimburse him for it until 2017.  [snip]
Trump’s financial disclosure on Wednesday, which only covers the 2017 calendar year, immediately raised concern among government watchdog groups over its timing.
David J. Apol, the acting director of the OGE, sent a letter to U.S. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Wednesday. In the letter, he noted that Trump’s payment to Cohen “should have been reported as a liability on his public financial disclosure report” for the 2016 calendar year, which the president signed in June 2017. (our emphasis)
Some reactions:

The former Director of Government Ethics agrees:

Leaving the payments off of earlier disclosure forms can also be seen as "consciousness of guilt," in that Rump would know that acknowledging the payments would implicate him in the Stormy Daniels affair.  But lying on a federal financial disclosure form carries much more exposure than embarrassment for Rump and whoever prepared the form =cough= Cohen =cough=; it could carry civil or criminal penalties. Looks like something the Mueller team and/ or the Southern District of New York prosecutors will be looking at carefully.

Giuliani Bombshell: Trump Repaid Cohen For Stormy Hush Money (UPDATED)

The same genius who unintentionally bollixed up the Muslim immigration ban, new White (Supremacist) House consigliere Rudy "Noun, Verb, 9/11" Giuliani, admitted last night on Sean "Heil" Hannity's sh*tshow that previous denials that malignant liar Donald "Rump" Trump knew about hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels are inoperative, but that the payments weren't a campaign finance violation:
“It’s going to turn out to be perfectly legal; that money was not campaign money,” Giuliani, who joined Trump’s legal team last month to handle issues related to special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Wednesday night in an attempt to argue that the payment wasn’t a campaign finance violation. The payment was “funneled through a law firm, and then the president repaid it.”
“Sorry, I’m giving you a fact now that you don’t know,” Giuliani continued. He told The New York Times that a monthly $35,000 reimbursement scheme was set up, coming out of a personal Trump family account. Trump ended up paying Cohen $460,000 to $470,000 in total, including funds for “incidental expenses,” he said.
As far as campaign finance laws, legal eagle Giuliani might not be totally up on the law:
... How the payment was made doesn’t affect the legality.
There was still almost certainly a campaign finance violation.
“We still have the same question: What was the purpose of this,” Noble said when we spoke by phone Wednesday evening. We’ve noted in the past that the question of whether the payment was meant to aid Trump’s candidacy is central to campaign finance considerations — and that it’s hard to argue that this payment wasn’t related to the campaign.
“If the purpose of this was to stop [Daniels] from hurting the campaign,” Noble continued, “then what you have is Cohen made a loan to the campaign. And it was an excessive loan because lending the campaign money is a contribution. It was an excessive contribution until it’s repaid.”
Another observer points out that the manner in which the payments were made, according to legal eagle Giuliani, may put Rump's ample ass in even more hot water:

Giuliani claims Rump was informed and on board with the revelations that could end up damaging his cosmically ignorant client in even more ways. Sounds about right. Thanks, Giuliani!

But, Michelle Wolf was harsh.

UPDATE:  Continuing to dig a hole for his dimwit client, legal eagle Giuliani was on Rump's council of advisers show "Fox & Friends" this morning:

Dog Wagging Quote Of The Day

I don’t want to say this attack was meant to distract from his other problems, but it’s called Operation Desert Stormy.” -- Bill Maher on Real Time, reacting to last night's attack on Syria by the U.S., France and Britain, and the desperate hope in some circles that it'll serve as a distraction for the rapidly heating- up Cadet Bone Spurs/ Stormy Daniels saga. Good luck with that.

The Stormy Saga: Depose This!

Yesterday, attorneys for porn actress Stormy Daniels  refiled a motion with the U.S. District Court for Central California to request a jury trial to determine the validity of the non-disclosure agreement with degenerate sociopath Donald "Rump" Trump (a.k.a. "David Dennison"...bwahaha), and to depose Rump for "no greater than two hour" as part of the discovery process. This motion had been previously denied without prejudice by the Court on procedural grounds. Now that Rump's fixer, Michael Cohen, has moved to compel arbitration, Daniels' attorneys refiled their motion for a jury trial.

There will be legal wrangling back and forth, but the Court's decision in this matter will determine whether a jury trial is going to happen. If and when it does, expect the bogus non-disclosure agreement to be tossed out and for juicy details of Rump's romp with Stormy to be disseminated widely. More importantly, it could result in charges against Cohen and others for campaign finance violations and fraud. It should also reveal the secretive money trails -- perhaps foreign in nature -- that finance Rump's agreements. Finally, if this is a test case for the validity of other Rump-dictated non-disclosure agreements, expect many more aggrieved parties to come forward to tell their stories about "David Dennison" if the agreement is determined to be invalid.
