Two recent ads caught our attention today, one by The Lincoln Project and the other by the Harris-Walz campaign. They're both asking, in different ways, what kind of country we want to be. Election day is 11 days away, but voting is underway in many States now. Your vote is your voice.
Sending in their $5 and $10 to the Malignant Loser's scam, nonexistent legal "defense fund," for his shady "Save America" PAC, or to buy his crappy merch, the Trumpies have been played for suckers for some time now. (Trump whisperer and fascist menace Steve "Greasy Two-Bit Grifter" Bannon is in the same boat). The Lincoln Project's latest ad puts a spotlight on it. The ad hit a nerve with the Malignant Loser, who's threatened to sue the Lincoln Project and Fox "News" for "false advertising" (snicker) though, as we all know, he rarely follows through on those threats (discovery process and First Amendment at play here).
President Trump, in his final days, is turning bitterly on virtually
every person around him, griping about anyone who refuses to indulge
conspiracy theories or hopeless bids to overturn the election, several
top officials tell Axios.
The latest: Targets of
his outrage include Vice President Pence, chief of staff Mark Meadows,
White House counsel Pat Cipollone, Secretary of State Pompeo and Senate
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. [snip]
A source who spoke to Trump said the president was complaining about Pence and brought up a Lincoln Project ad that claims that Pence is "backing away" from Trump. This ad has clearly got inside Trump’s head, the source said.
As Axios points out, the main gripe is that the aforementioned sycophants won't back up loons like Sydney Powell and Michael Flynn who want martial law declared and the election re- run in battleground states the increasingly mad Mango Mussolini lost. Mike Pence will also be in the spotlight on January 6, when he presides over a Joint Session of Congress to ultimately certify the electoral count and declare Joe Biden and Kamala Harris the winners. Anti- democracy Mango Mussolini dead- enders like Rep. Mo "Is Less" Brooks (R-Confederacy) and possibly fellow Alabammy Republican nitwit Sen.- elect Tommy "Dumber Than A Tuber"Tuberville have threatened to raise objections to one or more slates of electors, all of which will go down in inglorious flames. Pence, the ultimate Mango Mussolini panderer, will be presiding over the final nail in Mango Mussolini's presidential coffin (if he doesn't skip town beforehand for that overseas trip). Hopefully, Mother will be nearby to provide support.
Here's The Lincoln Project ad mentioned above that apparently got Mango Mussolini thinking maybe Pence had detached his lips from his ass:
Latin salsa super star and philanthropist Marc Anthony witnessed first hand white supremacist and habitual liar Donald "COVID Donnie" Trump's disregard and despicable behavior toward our fellow Americans who call Puerto Rico their home. Treating them as third class citizens, when they've shed their blood for America in every war since World War I and have contributed so much to our culture and vitality as a nation. Trump is counting on enough Puerto Ricans to forget his lies, disrespect and neglect. Marc Anthony is here to tell him they won't forget on November 3.
It'll be a close election in Florida, and the Latino vote will be absolutely critical. Puerto Rican-Americans are a large and politically aware demographic there and elsewhere throughout the U.S. They won't forget, and they could make a big difference in defeating Trump.
The Lincoln Project got "Randall," the original voice of "honey badger don't give a shit" fame, to voice "Covey Spreader." Gotta say, nice to have them on our side (for now).
Now here's Bruce Springsteen reading poet Elayne Griffin's "The Gray House" on his Sirius XM radio show. Powerful.
