Deplorables Deride Declaration of Independence

In an Independence Day tradition, National Public Radio tweeted out the words of the Declaration of Independence line-by-line. And every year, wingnuts and MAGA morons take the unintended bait and react as if it's the Communist Manifesto. This year was no different, as the deplorable dopes expressed their anger at one of our nation's most revered documents. Maybe NPR could tweet a line-by-line reading of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address to really get the treasonous, Confederate flag-waving sociopaths to blow their tops.

We shouldn't be surprised; after all, demagogue and sociopath Donald "Rump" Trump once said that he "loved the poorly educated."   His base is certainly that.

Mistaken Identity

Condolences to the family and friends of ESPN's long-time legendary anchor Stuart "Boo Yah" Scott, who lost his battle with cancer at the age of 49.  He was one of the best of many great sports analysts there and elsewhere.  Strangely, the far-right, paleo-racist National Socialist Review Online ran an "R.I.P." with an anonymous white guy's picture instead of the African-American Scott.  We await Martin Luther King day, to see if the NRO uses this image:
