When You're A Clown, Expect To Be Laughed At

Dimwit nihilist Donald "Rump" Trump on June 1, pulling out of the Paris climate accord:

At what point do they start laughing at us as a country?   We want fair treatment for its citizens, and we want fair treatment for our taxpayers.  We don’t want other leaders and other countries laughing at us anymore. 

Correction: Not "us." They're laughing at YOU, and have been for a long, long time. Rump's latest destructive spasm only re-confirmed for them that we have a real sick moron on our hands here.

Der Spiegel notes that some of the laughter is not the kind any patriotic American would want:

...[I]t is likely that none of the G-7 heads of state and government expected the primitive brutality Trump would stoop to when announcing his withdrawal from the international community. Surrounded by sycophants in the Rose Garden at the White House, he didn't just proclaim his withdrawal from the climate agreement, he sowed the seeds of international conflict. His speech was a break from centuries of Enlightenment and rationality. The president presented his political statement as a nationalist manifesto of the most imbecilic variety. It couldn't have been any worse. [snip] 

It's not surprising that Moscow is gleefully scoffing at the losers in Europe. Mariya Sakharova, the Foreign Ministry's brash spokeswoman, gloated openly Tuesday on Vladimir Solovyov's popular Russian talk show. [snip]: 

The open government gloating is indicative of the mood currently prevailing in the Russian capital. For Vladimir Putin, a dream appears to have come true in recent days; Trump could prove to be a godsend. For some time, Moscow has been trying to drive a wedge between the trans-Atlantic alliance. But now it looks as though the American president is doing that job for him. (our emphasis)

French newspapers Le Monde ("Environment: a systematic attack by the Trump administration on the heritage of Barack Obama") and Le Figaro ("Donald Trump gave a middle finger to the rest of the world and future generations") were similarly mocking the nitwit.

The laughter has been going on long before he became our Clown- In- Chief. In China and in fact, all over the world. Likewise, the Trump Trope that the rest of the world is laughing at us dates back years, and in fact, reveals one of his obsessions:

It is Trump's gift to future biographers that he makes so little attempt to hide his psychological issues, but the desire to avoid being laughed at truly stands out. It doesn't take a genius to suss out whose interests are being served by this clueless retrenchment. A supine, party- before- country Republican- controlled Congress won't stop the destabilizing destructiveness. Once again, it is going to be up to us, grassroots organizations, enlightened businesses and governmental coalitions like the emerging U.S. Climate Alliance to take up the tiny- fingered gauntlet thrown down by our Clown- In- Chief.

We're hearing that the firm handshake from French President Macron apparently damaged the fragile ego of unstable narcissist Donald "Rump" Trump enough to exit the Paris Climate Accord. No one in the White (Supremacist) House will even say whether or not Rump believes in climate change (whether he does or not, he has to stick with his denialist base). The pettiness and recklessness of this mentally unfit clown damages us as a nation every day.

Trump's Vile Decision To Quit Paris Accords

The profoundly ignorant and malicious decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accords -- an agreement with flexible, voluntary goals -- by neo-fascist buffoon Donald "Rump" Trump will not only make the U.S. an international pariah on environmental issues, but it marks the end of U.S. global and diplomatic leadership and a retreat of decades on the environment. With the Rump regime's abdication of responsibility, we are on our own -- individual citizens, institutions, companies, states, cities and others -- to go beyond what is expected as far as reducing our carbon footprint, and to shame and avoid those that won't. We'll see how many of our major corporations follow the Paris Climate Accord's goals for carbon emissions voluntarily, and how many cities and states adopt their own earth-friendly standards and regulations, because this shameful regime in the White (Supremacist ) House won't.

Generations from now, Americans will look back at Donald Trump’s decision to leave the Paris Agreement as one of the most ignorant and dangerous actions ever taken by any President. Trump’s decision to ignore the vast majority of the American public and the scientific community will harm our country, costing us lives, jobs and our role as a world leader. Trump has isolated our country on the world stage, ceding our leadership position and our economic advantage on clean energy to India and China, and justifying it all by chanting a slogan from a baseball hat.
