Mid-Week Song

Indie folk artist Phoebe Bridgers' third solo album "Lost Weekend" is due out in mid-August.  The four-time Grammy winner -- also a member of the supergroup boygenius -- released a single from that album a few days ago, "Lost Boys," which is our mid-week song choice.  Enjoy.

Weekend Music

Phoebe Bridgers' new track, "So Much Wine" (also the title of her just- released EP) is a cover of the Handsome Family's song.  Releasing covers is a holiday tradition for Bridgers (this is her sixth year doing it), who donates proceeds to different charities each year.  This year, proceeds will go to the Los Angeles LGBTQ Center, which focuses on drug abuse treatment and people living with HIV.  Good for her & hope you enjoy.

Mid-Week Song

Los Angeles indie rock solo musician Phoebe Bridgers will be releasing her second studio album, "Punisher," next week. Her ethereal, indie rock sound is of the same family as Lord Huron, The National, and Conor Oberst. A single off her latest album, "I See You," is our choice today. Enjoy.

You may have caught Better Oblivion Community Center (Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers) on Stephen Colbert's show a few nights ago.  This is the song they performed, "Dylan Thomas," from their just- released album... "Better Oblivion Community Center."  Hope you enjoy.
