How's That Republican Rebranding Coming Along? Immigration Reform Dept.

Weeper of the House John "Mr. Tangerine Man" Boehner shut the door yesterday on taking up the bipartisan immigration reform bill that was passed by the Senate.  As he told reporters:
“Frankly, I’ll make clear, we have no intention of ever going to conference on the Senate bill."
Even though the bill - even without conferencing - would pass the House (it has 190 Democratic co-sponsors and 23 Republicans vowing to support it), Boehner values his Speakership, which is  being held hostage along with his balls by the Tea Party wing  crackpot caucus of House Republicans, more than doing what is morally right and politically astute.

You know not- so- good- Catholic Boehner's balls are in a hermetically sealed container when he even ignores the appeal of the Catholic Conference of Bishops:
Last week, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the archbishop of New York, made an urgent request to House Speaker John Boehner on behalf of the Catholic Conference of Bishops. He asked Boehner, a Catholic, to pass stalled immigration reform legislation, calling the current immigration system “a stain on the nation’s soul.”
Unfortunately, a "stain on the nation's soul" is nothing compared to Boehner's need to hold onto his job, which we think technically makes him a big part of that stain... and a coward, and morally bankrupt, of course.
