Just days after the suicide bombing of the Iraqi parliament building, and the destruction of Baghdad's Sarafiya bridge, attacks earlier today in Baghdad and Karbala have claimed the lives of over 53 victims. In Baghdad, the Jadriya bridge was blown up, causing at least 10 deaths, while a car bomb in Karbala killed at least 43.
Yeah, the surge is working.
