Life In Bushit's America

It's becoming more difficult to dissent from the Bush Assministration's Iraq war these days, without being accused of treason, etc. or harassed by the local gendarmes. Case in point: sheriffs deputies in Ashville, NC recently arrested a couple displaying an inverted US flag (traditional sign of distress) with some slogans and a picture of Dumbya pinned to it. Their home was invaded by an especially zealous sheriff's deputy (and National Guardsman), after a "tip" from another National Guardsman. The arrest appears bogus, and the couple are pursuing legal action. As the linked article notes, recent Supreme Court decisions seem to strongly favor the couple's right to their protest.

We can expect more of the same as returning Guardsmen, who have been brainwashed by Bushie-supporting military brass, take out their anger on dissenters, rather than the dishonest Assministration which cynically sent them and their buddies into harms way after fabricating the rationale for war in Iraq.
