Buckley Out At National Review
Christopher Buckley, son of right-wing icon William F. Buckley, has resigned his position at the National Review, a magazine that his father founded in 1955. Citing hate mail from wingnuts unhappy with his endorsement of Sen. Obama, Buckley said that a virtual "fatwah" had been issued against him by far right wingnuts. Paraphrasing St. Ronnie Raygun's comment about the Democratic Party, he said, "I haven't left the Republican Party, it left me." It now belongs to the "kill him" fringe of delusional nutbags. They can have it.
