"Shhhh. . . He's Going to Say Something!"
We so rarely have any posts on the Supreme Court -- Justice Sotomayor notwithstanding -- that we had to note this item from Crooks and Liars.
Apparently, Supreme Court Justice Clarence "The Quiet" Thomas was about to ask his first question in almost 4 years which would have truly been historic. He is well known on the Court for never questioning attorneys from the bench, and, aside from a few public appearances, very rarely was heard from in his 19 years on the Supreme Court. With a judicial record even further to the right than Justice "Scalliwag" Scalia, maybe it's better that he keep his mouth shut and let people assume he has nothing good to say.
