It's hard to focus on politics after watching the horrific story of Haiti's earthquake. International aid officials have been told to expect a major catastrophe. Most of Port-au-Prince has been leveled, and the death toll will almost certainly be in the multiple thousands as debris is removed.
For the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, this is beyond devastating.
(UPDATE: Sadly, racist nutbags like Talibangelist Pat Robertson have to weigh in and blame the earthquake on the Haitian people)
