More on Media Malfeasance

As Hackwhackers fans (you know who you are!), you know one of the most consistent themes we follow is that of the broken mainstream media. The offenses include serving as stenographers for Rethug talking points, creating false equivalencies (the need to "balance") between the radicalism on the right with that on the left, and generally letting "Drudge rule our world." Matthew Yglesias writes in today's "Daily Beast" about the right-wing lies the media is allowing to permeate public discourse, ranging from the "controversy" over reconciliation to the phony memes concerning health care reform. It's worth a read.
