"This Is The Height of Stupidity. . ."

Rethuglican National Committee Chairclown Michael "Shizzle" Steele has had a rough tenure, what with bondage-themed strip clubs used for fundraising efforts, wasteful RNC spending stories, off-message gaffes that draw attention to his general stupidity. But news of his latest f**k up is fueling speculation that he may be forced to resign. Talking to a group of Rethug candidate hopefuls, Shizzle called the war in Afghanistan a "war of Obama's choosing" and said no one had ever achieved victory there. Outraged Rethugs, who support military action in Afghanistan almost universally, were quick to call out Shizzle; it's being reported that some will be calling for his resignation. In the words of neocon wizard Wee Willie Kristol,

"There are, of course, those who think we should pull out of Afghanistan, and they're certainly entitled to make their case. But one of them shouldn't be the chairman of the Republican party."

It will be amusing to watch Shizzle, under pressure to resign, play the race card to keep his job for the next few months.
