After being nominated for the 2010 Grammys as Best New Artist, the Brooklyn-based group MGMT has been getting better airplay. Their song "Kids" was also nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. Here's their bizarre video (with a whopping 33 million hits). The keyboard/synthesizer has a strangely compelling sound.
