Michigan football coach Rich "Rich Rod" Rodriguez has been fired after three disappointing seasons. Michigan's proud football tradition suffered under Rich Rod, who had abruptly left as coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers earning him the undying enmity of fans there. Michigan Athletic Director Dave Brandon, reflecting on Rich Rod's poor record and handful of NCAA violations, said it best: "Michigan is not used to this."
