Think Progress has some revealing quotes from some right wingers, including Poot Gingrich and Michelle "I See Commies" Bachmann, that capture the "oppose Obama at any cost" mentality of the wingnut right on the subject of Libya and Moammar "Daffy" Gadhafi. Like Daffy would have us believe, both Poot and the Minnesota Loon want us to think that al-Qaeda is the leading force among the rebels (despite the CIA's opposite analysis). Therefore, we should leave the people of Libya to Gadhafi's tender mercies. That'll show al-Qaeda! Their "reasoning" doesn't account for why you see Libyan rebels shouting "thank you America" for taking Gadhafi's armor and artillery out.
Echoes of this same cynical garbage was heard during the more benign Egyptian uprising. If President Obama says "yes", they say "no." If he says "less", they say "more." None of their pronouncements are connected to anything but a reflex to oppose everything the President says or does. Not only are they unworthy to lead the country, they're not even worthy to run a lemonade stand.
