We Don't Need No Education

It's a fact that most teabaggers "don't know much about history," and they want to make sure American kids don't either. One teabagger group calling themselves "Independence Hall Tea Party Association" actually wants to eliminate public schools, and replace them with private schools funded through vouchers that would come from tax funds. The right wing has been pushing school voucher programs for many years, and now their tea party troops want to take it to the extreme. Is it about the fact that public teachers' unions are overwhelmingly Democratic? It's a likely explanation, but whatever the reason, the teatards need to be stopped cold on this issue. The public education system was a major factor in America's development, and it continues to educate those of limited economic means. Sadly, though, it looks as though our schools failed the teatards.
