We just had a 5.9 magnitude earthquake here in the DC metro area at approximately 1:53 edt. No damage nearby neighborhood.
UPDATE: USGS says it was a 5.9 magnitude earthquake centered in Virginia, but felt as far away as South Carolina and New England.
