Secessionist Texas Gov. Rick "Hair" Perry doubled down on his radical right wing views at last night's Rethuglican Presidential debate. The Confederate cowboy repeatedly referred to Social Security as a "Ponzi scheme," which allowed man-of-all-views Willard "Mittens" Romney to score points. Hair's refusal to tone down the crazy talk will get the low-information Rethug mouthbreathers' approval, but it's poison to the general public. The two suits also jabbed back and forth on who was the better job creator. Mittens may want to be careful about talking up his record at Bain Capital, where he presided over acquisitions of companies only to break them up and sell the pieces off, while firing thousands of workers. And Hair's been a career State government official: we didn't know Hair believes 'gummint' creates jobs.
Mostly silent and fading fast was Minnesota Loon Michele Bachmann. Her support has mostly swung to Hair's campaign, and gone was her previous domination of the stage. The other hopefuls looked like they showed up at the wrong house for a party.
