Had it not been for The Colbert Report, this story would have wafted by us: "Marine Corps Bans Audible Farting In Afghanistan."
Apparently, a number of Afghans were offended by the Marines' um...openness. But not offended by whipping women who fail to wear a burka or who go to school.
On the positive side, we think this opens a new chapter in stealth warfare. Semper Fttt!
