The British group Florence + The Machine is singer Florence Welch, keyboardist Isabella "The Machine" Summers, and other musicians. They are a rising act in the music world, appearing recently on Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel and Colbert Report. Nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy last year, Florence + The Machine also placed 51st in the 2011 Time 100 poll of the 100 most influential people in the world (Hmmmm).
