It's dawning on the Talibangelist Rethugs that their mission to patrol every American woman's uterus is a loser politically. For all their yapping about being "small government conservatives," it's obvious that "small" is in the eye of the beholder in their case.
The outrageous bill passed by the Rethug House and Senate in Virginia would require a woman seeking an abortion to undergo a mandatory transvaginal ultrasound procedure, purely for the purpose of intimidating and harassing her into not proceeding. Virginia Rethuglican Governor Bob "Blowdry Bob" McDonnell was gung-ho for the bill, until it became obvious that, once again, the religious wingnuts had vastly overreached. Now, he seems to be backing away, asking for a watered-down version of the bill. This is but one reason why these fanatics must, MUST, be defeated at the polls. Be assured that if they aren't, they'll try again and again.
