This week, the President focused on energizing young voters in 2012, who voted for him by a 2 to 1 margin in 2008. Appearing at the University of North Carolina, University of Colorado, and University of Iowa, he focused on maintaining low student loan interest rates, which Congressional Rethugs have been opposing (unless they can make cuts in health care?). It's a winning issue for the President, and the students treated him like a rock star. The formal kick-off of the campaign will begin on May 5, with rallies at Ohio State University and Virginia Commonwealth University. See a pattern? Let's hope they turn out again in November with the same passion.
