Infamous Arizona Sheriff Joe "Joey Oops" Arpaio appears to be in serious legal trouble after a panel convened by the State Supreme Court found that Joey Oops and several of his partners in crime conspired to interfere in a judicial process, a Federal crime. Joey Oops and his co-conspirators were apparently using their investigative power to intimidate Maricopa County officials with whom they disagreed. When a judge intervened, they decided to have him arrested on phony charges.
You'll recall that Joey Oops was recently in the spotlight, pushing an absurd "investigation" into President Obama's birth certificate, which made him even more of a laughing stock. He's also been the face of reactionary resistance to common sense immigration laws. He first gained national notoriety years ago when he required Maricopa County jail inmates to wear pink underwear.
Let's hope that this conspiracy leads to jail for Joey Oops, where he can model his own pink underwear for his fellow prisoners.
