Courtesy of Steve Benen, here's your weekly compilation of the whoppers, lies, half-truths and flip flops emanating from Willard "Whatever I Said" Romney's privileged foie gras hole. With a "liar" (-- N. Gingrich) like Willard spouting untruths as fast as his lips can move, it's hard to pick a winner this week, but if we had to we'd pick #9 on Benen's list:
"President Obama has decided to attack success."
The evidence? Of course it doesn't exist. Unless by "success" Willard means "vulture capitalists (-- Rick Perry) who fire employees, strip companies of wealth and line their pockets and those of their investors." Oh, that "success."
