Report: Russian Attack Copters Heading For Syria

In what could foreshadow a major escalation of violence, Secretary of State Clinton said today that Russian attack helicopters were on their way to Syria. The reported action follows recent massacres of civilians by the Assad regime, as well as a strengthening of anti-Assad forces. Russia has refused to cooperate with Western and Arab efforts through the United Nations to bring the violence and the Assad regime to an end, but this report would indicate a significant ramping up of Russian military aid in an effort to save Assad.
