Tomorrow the Vice President will be meeting with the National Rampage Association, and other gun "rights" groups to listen to what is expected to be a rant on why we need more guns in more hands, and when those guns aren't enough, higher powered guns with bigger kill capacity. There is practically zero chance that the NRA leadership will moderate its extreme position after tomorrow's meeting, but a 100% chance they'll launch a campaign to smear and sabotage the Administration's efforts. This will be a long, tough fight with an entrenched, paranoid organization whose own membership is at odds with their positions, but the fight has to start now.
