Later today, President Obama will discuss the comprehensive package of gun control measures that he plans to introduce, which are being described as the most sweeping since the 1968 Gun Control Act was passed in the aftermath of the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy.
It's no surprise that the criminally insane leadership of the National Rampage Association is launching a full-scale attack on any meaningful controls, and have begun with a scurrilous personal attack on President Obama and his family. It suggests that the President is an "elitist hypocrite" for having Secret Service protection for his daughters, while not supporting armed guards at every school. Expect more of the same from this renegade group of paranoids as the battle heats up.
UPDATE: In a sign that the White House won't be taking the NRA's swill lying down, they issued a statement calling the ad "repugnant and cowardly."
