After the House passed the $50.7 billion relief bill for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, over the objections of a majority of House Rethugs, it was believed that the Senate would act swiftly to approve the bill and send it to the President for signature. Not so fast. While the victims shiver in subfreezing temperatures, and after promising to take the bill up earlier this week, Senate Majority "leader" Harry "Bending" Reid has delayed Senate action on the bill until Monday. The reason? He had to screw up filibuster reform first, and give the Rethugs most of what they wanted.
Again, is this fool the best that Dems can do for a Majority Leader?
