Jobs Report Positive

The February jobs report released today indicates that 236,000 new jobs were created last month, bringing the unemployment rate down from 7.9% to 7.7%, the lowest rate in over four years.  It was also the second highest number for new job creation in the past 12 months.  With the stock market surging to record levels, indications are the economy is continuing its recovery.  Had there not been declines in Federal, State and local government employment, the unemployment rate would have been even lower.
