Today's Dispatches From The Stupid Party

Welcome to the Rethuglican/ New Confederate/ Stupid Party, where the free-dumb never stops!  Let's begin in the Confederate State of Georgia, shall we?  Here's what's flapping around in the belfry of the Stupid Party's State Chairman: 

A top Republican in Georgia has sounded an ominous warning that legalization of same-sex marriage may also lead to fraud.  

Sue Everhart, chairwoman of the Georgia Republican Party, told the Marietta Daily Journal in a story published Saturday that once gay nuptials are legally permitted, there will be nothing to stop a straight person from exploiting the system in order to claim marital benefits.

Indeed, as we have never always suspected, straight people will start pretending to be gay married in order to get them some thar benefits.  Takers!  Moochers!! Chairman Everhart is on to you!

A little further south, we have Florida Rethuglican/ New Confederate/ Stupid Party State Sen. Alan Hays, ever-vigilant to the imaginary dangers of...  Sharia law!

Alan Hays, a Republican state senator in Florida, likened Sharia law to a "dreadful disease" requiring vaccination to protect Americans... [snip]

Hays is a co-sponsor of one such bill in Florida, which has seen little movement in the state legislature due to the lack of any precedent that would warrant the need to ban Sharia law.

Sen. Hays also needs to be on the lookout for any Mooslim janitor sinks foot purification fonts in the Florida State Capitol like they found up thar in Tennessee!
