Just Go-mez

Gabriel "Just Go" Gomez, the Rethuglican candidate for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Secretary of State John Kerry is having some problems on the ethics front.  He's apparently pulled some fast ones on his taxes, by claiming a $281,500 deduction for something he wasn't allowed to do anyway.  He won't explain the scheme, which smells to high heaven.

He's also the same character that was the spokesperson for the right-wing "swiftboat" smear outfit, the so-called "Special Operations Opsec Education Fund," that attacked the President over the operation to kill bin Laden.  Just Go claimed that, although he appeared on TV as their spokesperson, he was never connected with the group.  Riiiight!  All the more reason to support Dem Rep. Ed Markey for the Senate.

Thank you for this item. The nation needs Markey, especially now. He says exactly what he stands for, no equivocating. Gomez refused to attend an event where Markey had asked that they pledge to forego outside funding for the campaigns. Typical. P.E.C.

We don't need another Scott Brown sneaking in on a special election, especially this shady guy. Thanks P.E.C.
