Don't Cry For Me, Tangerina

If it hasn't been evident for years, it is now.  Weeper of the House John "Mr. Tangerine Man" Boehner can't seem to get anything done in the Rethug-controlled House, except for umpteen votes on abolishing Obamacare and naming Post Offices.  The latest fiasco for the Weeper was the defeat of the farm bill.  The bill was going to cut billions per year from the food stamp program, while boosting farm subsidies that would, of course, aid agribusiness giants like Archer Daniels Midland and Cargill who contribute to Rethuglican politicians.  It failed on a vote of 234 - 195, when the Weeper lost dozens of his own teabagger caucus members who thought the bill was too generous to food stamp recipients.

Next up:  immigration reform.  As the Senate appears poised to deliver a somewhat bipartisan reform bill, the House remains as reactionary and obstructionist toward reform as possible.  The teabagger caucus in the House has Weeper Boehner's cojones in a vice grip, and they won't reason or compromise.  No wonder he cries so much.
