Rethuglican obstruction of the Affordable Care Act, as we noted below, is proceeding despite evidence that implementation will bring immediate and significant benefits to tens of millions of Americans. The Rethugs know that "Obamacare" could bring about a multi-generational electoral shift to the Democratic Party -- much like immigration reform -- so they're fighting it for all it's worth.
