Not A Fan of Tailgunner Ted

Sometimes, Sen. John "Grampypants" McCain is on the right side of things (not that right side).  The latest foray into sanity comes via a top aide to Grampypants, who told GQ magazine for an upcoming article on Texas wingnut Sen. Ted "Tailgunner Ted" Cruz that McCain "f*cking hates Cruz."  Earlier this year, he referred to Tailgunner Ted and Sen. "Ayn Rand" Paul as "wacko birds" for their extreme views on the Federal budget among other things.

With sides being picked in the Rethuglican / Nihilist Party, McCain and a few others are coming down on the side of not shutting the Government down to make points with the enraged and ill-informed teabagger base.  Good for him.  Perhaps more Rethugs will see the rapids and head for shore before going over the falls.
