Yes, the rabid ones are howling at the moon again. But spurring the irrational raving of the base is the far right's fundraising operation. Create a "controversy," propose a "solution," and ask for donations to make it happen -- which it almost never does. No wonder the wingers are beside themselves with anger, but have been too confused to figure out the right people to blame.
