Even A Blind Squirrel....

...sometimes finds a nut.  Here's conservative pundit, and therefore a blind squirrel, Ross Douthat in the New York Times writing about the Teathuglican wingnuts' failed extortion ploy:

"It was an irresponsible, dysfunctional and deeply pointless act, carried out by a party that on the evidence of the last few weeks shouldn’t be trusted with the management of a banana stand, let alone the House of Representatives."

First, that's an insult to banana stand operators, Mr. Douthat. Second, the title of his piece is "A Teachable Moment." Those wingnuts aren't teachable, much less sane.
