The Hack's Hacking Headache

The phone-hacking and bribery trial of mega-winger Rupert "Aargh" Murdoch protege Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson begins today, with serious implications for Aargh's media empire.  Aargh's "News of the World" newspaper came crashing down a couple of years ago amid evidence that their reporters had hacked private phone conversations of political and celebrity Brits.

We sincerely hope that Aargh's "business model" here in the U.S., which includes such trashy organs as Fux News and the New York (Com)Post, will be scrutinized in the same manner as his UK properties.  It's one thing for the National Security Agency to collect data on electronic transmissions to prevent another 9-11, and it's another for a private tycoon's company to "spy" on private citizens for salacious reasons or purposes of political extortion.
