Former NBA player and poster boy for piercings gone bad Dennis "The Menace" Rodman has checked into an alcohol rehabilitation center for treatment. Rodman has spent time in North Korea with the boy tyrant Kim Jong Un as a self-appointed ambassador of goodwill, during which time he defended North Korea's unlawful detention of a Korean-American citizen, Kenneth Bae, and sang "Happy Birthday" to the brutal North Korean dictator.
Rodman, who apparently fancies himself the next Jesse Jackson or Barack Obama, has been widely condemned for lending an air of credibility to the North Korean regime by his visits and his work with their men's national basketball team. Hopefully, he'll dry out for good and take a long, hard look at how his behavior was exploited by a brutal dictatorship.
